Few years back , I was totally mad about the Divine Proportion . It was influenced by Dan Brown’s book ” The Da Vinci Code “. I started​ gropping more and more info about the Fibonacci series which is very simple to understand but has the unique and Divine Proportion , i.e. 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, …( it is formed by starting with 0 and 1 and then adding any two consecutive terms to obtain the next one ,- 0 , 1 , 0+1=1 , 1+1=2 , 1+2=3 , 2+3= 5 and so on .

The interesting part is it is closely related to the the twenty-first letter of the Greek alphabet Φ, or φ (phi ) , which is also known by different names , Golden Ratio , Golden Mean etc.  Phi is the basis for the Golden Ratio, Section or Mean . The ratio, or proportion, determined by Phi (1.618 …) was known to the Greeks as the “dividing a line in the extreme and mean ratio” and to Renaissance artists as the “Divine Proportion”

The relationship of the Fibonacci sequence to the golden ratio is this: The ratio of each successive pair of numbers in the sequence approximates Phi (1.618. . .) , as 5 divided by 3 is 1.666…, and 8 divided by 5 is 1.60 and so on . The ratio of successive Fibonacci numbers converges on phi and After the 40th number in the sequence, the ratio is accurate to 15 decimal places.

The Golden Ratio can be seen and found in nature ; in shells ,petals of flowers ,branches of trees , seed heads , pine cones , spiral galaxies ,  body parts etc.

I am fascinated by this Divine Proportion and few years back wrote a poetry about it in fb.

its not much of a poetry , but I did expressed the influenced that this proportion had on me . ………!
