Carpe Diem Special #201 Basho’s disciples: Morikawa Kyoroku’s “morning glories”

as far as my knowledge is concerned , I think Kyoroku’s haikus are also full of “shasei” moments . that is why I attempt my haiku with a sense of ” shasei ” moment . following the path of the master , Basho and with due respect to Kyoroku here is my struggle for a haiku inspired by the duo ‘ s works

brook amid the wood
shines with silvery moonlight
crickets stop chirping
