drift

monsoon driftwood rests
beside a mossy boulder
flowing river sighs

upon the driftwood
someone  has carved long ago
an arrow pierced heart

mossy boulder knows
the drifter who often carves
hearts pierced by arrows

present

pink paper blossom
how it reminds me today
her sweet memories

stormy monsoon night
where must she be , I wonder
a restless moment

winter sets in now
white snow wraps ,even my hair
her gift still stay young

sound

thunder in the sky
thirsty throats listen with awe
sterile clouds of rain

tearless monsoon cries
looking at the dusty leaves
uninvited guest

the parched earth hugs lives
humming a quiet lullaby
time tests her often .
